Having a wee pint of Red while I get the water started for tomorrows brew.
If you still have leftover ingredients, I could go for some brocc, chicken and mushroom quiche.I think I’ve settled on chicken in a mushroom sauce.
You're like Tommy Cooper with those bottles! You'll be trollied..Another of my aged wines. This one is 10 months old. I didn’t think I liked this one very much. Now it’s aged though it’s like liquid toffee, so good! Will save the rest for Thursday when the DIL is here. Husband not a fan of this one but more for the girls!

What kind of ABVs do you get for your wine? It sounds good by the way.Another of my aged wines.

That's the same. If I recall correctly, 80 proof for something like whiskey means 40% ABV. We do non-liquor like beer and wine just like yours. Not sure if you have percent proof on your US bottles though

I hate to ask but what does a plane beer cost these days?30000 feet
I get it. What you said first is exactly how you'd see it everywhere here--ABV.Yes, as I understand it, my wine would be 24-28% proof over there. Not entirely sure though lol
It was, indeed, a crime against beer. Horrible.Brewdog advent calendar day 21. I have a horrible feeling this is going to be a crime against beer, but I shall give it a fair crack of the whip.....

Would you mind sharing the recipe please as although I am only 20 minutes away from the brewery tap it might just as well be on Mars at the strength it is?Started into a 5l keg of a ruby mild based on a GH recipe.
