All this talk of Dubbels and Tripels got me jealous... Luckily I've got this cheeky little number (4) I'd been saving.

@Alastair70 this one's from the Netherlands and their Tripel is what got me started on my beer obsession.

Also, I think I need a new tree, mines looking a bit sad

Have a couple more of those Quads and it'll look like the most gorgeous tree in the world

Had a lovely ddh ipa fromnorth brewing co lovely mouthfeel and decent bitterness.
then onto a beer seen on here last night. Well worth the £2.10 a bottle.

Just off Beers of Europe, put in a big Belgian order that includes the Karmeliar Triple and a couple of Quads. That should put a rosy glow on Christmas. Toasting the purchase with a pilsner from Beer52. It’s pretty good overall but there’s a little residual sweetness I could have done without.

It's annoying because I recognise the hops but can't put my finger on what they are exactly. Lovely drop, and yes a vintage ale is exactly what I'd put it down as.

The pub is in Helston, i'd heard of the pub, it's quite famous down here, it was a brew pub before they were more common, but i've never been. The bottles can be found in most corner shops since Covid, they must have branched out.
