Blowing the froth off a couple of Guinness stout/porter mixes.

The Guinness clone is nothing of the sort with burnt chocolate and the porter finished sweeter than I wanted, but a half of each and its very drinkable 😂

Nothing for me. Had a fair few last night though. TBF, it's extremely rare for the wife and I to get out for a drink. So I probably ripped the hole out of it a bit. Still, at least some good came of it. I actually found a bar that pours good Guinness. Pubs like that are as rare as hens teeth these days.
Move to Ireland Lol

Here he is! 🥳

Back home and ready to…
:groupdancing:
Phew!
Thought I was going to be the sole Kent representative.
Here's the first pint drawn off the newly casked Exmoor Gold.
Not as assertive as the Pale Ale of Kent, no Ernest for flavour, same Challenger for full boil bittering and instead pure EKG'S gleened from the farm entrance opposite.
100g @15 mins boil and 100g whirlpool 75c this year's and last year's.
That's fresh frozen green hops, not dried! The still most I've put in a single brew.
It's growing on me though.
Good thing there's 20L to keep testing and checking on how it develops.
It seemed a bit 'odd' at racking, but has lost the majority of that already. Maybe just because it wasn't 'Ernested'.
