Cheshire Cat
Landlord.
Had this with the BBQ yesterday afternoon, bought it from Lidl not bad at all. First time I've seen it in the UK but they sell it in Italy. Might change my handle to Duffman.
I had a few beers from these guys last time I was in Tenerife and they were good. Not sure how readily available they are though. We were in Santa CruzAfter over a week of drinking the Tenerife lagers, heartburn has finally made me put my had in my pocket and buy the only imported overpriced ale they have to offer,,, rock and a hard place View attachment 56259
It looks like a big juicy pale Lisa. Very enticing. So we couldn’t afford to brew beer this month apart from a small experimental batch of a smash. This is just Maris otter and citra, with verdant ipa yeast. We are foxed as to where the haziness has come from though. It has been cold crashed and fined with gelatine, but still has this opaque colour. So weird! It was this colour before the finings went in so it wasn’t caused by the gelatine. It tastes nice though so no worries.

Could be hop haze from the dry hop. Looks the part anywayit was a 10L batch - it has 10g in the boil, 30g in the whirlpool and 70g in the dry hop. supposedly about 36 IBU's
It’s a good yeast as well. Used it a few times. Can be slow to finish thoughCould be. You'd swear it was a neipa though it's so thick!
