No photos, but I have been enjoying the first sample of my Ayinger Altbairisch Dunkel clone that I brewed in May. It's very good. I have some bottle of the real thing coming soon, so I'll be able to do a comparison.

I do believe Aldi are getting in some different Stuart Brewery beers too. Next week i think. Not sure if its scottish stores only. Worth a recce though imho.

I am on the chocolate stout now. It's the second one I've had, and I don't think I'm big on them really. It's stout! And it tastes of chocolate! It goes down fine, but that's not really a beer for me. Plenty more to go at, though! 😀 I've had that Loch Lomond beers before from there, and they always seem pretty decent.

39C in Zakynthos today so an ice cold tin of Lidls Radler to take the edge off.

Choc stout or indeed ay stout isn't for me Agreed on the Loch lomonds. I do like their 6% hazy ipa for a "pudding" now and again (

Multi-tasking at the minute but taking time to try a couple of unusual beers. Because I’m planning to brew a Mild I wanted to try a couple for research. Waitrose had none, Sainsbury’s had none so I gave up and bought these instead.

It’s actually quite nice, like a citrusy (grapefruit) pale ale with a little tartness.

I don’t think I’ll be able to finish this one. It’s described as a strawberries and cream pale ale - what was I thinking FFS!

It tastes like someone has blended beer with fruit juice and and cream soda, then added an equal measure of sugar. No, that’s it, I can’t take any more, down the drain with you matey!
