My bad. I pushed it towards the back when the other DIPA's arrived and with feeling ****, I totally forgot about it until you posted. Well it's in the glass but won't last long. Really lovely ipa, I just brew more Belgian beers. The Belgian yeast character is well balanced against the hops. Pours lovely and clear, cracking head on it. I am not expert in this style, the only thing I could constructively say was it could be more carbed for my liking but as been off the keg a few weeks.

Thanks Dave, hopefully I can brew something as good soon.

Don't ever let Dave talk us into a Belgian brew-off 🤣
Always nails the Belgian character 👍

Same beer as ever with a different name. That’s not quite right, less molasses and choc malt than the Christmas brew, and better for it methinks.

Glad it went down welland you were feeling up to getting on the beer👍🏼

Normality is restored with a new batch except this isn’t normal. I introduced a more efficient sparge into my brewing process and it worked better than I expected so this batch is 10%. I have another batch conditioning where I’ve reduced the grain bill to suit but for now 🥴

Pi55ed as a handcart...

Rarely drink on a school night but making up for lost time and not working until the evening.

Pilsner for SWMBO and a neipa for me. Not bad for £2 and decent hop aroma and flavour but not blow your head off. Guess hop selection as something to do with it. One of the first beers a part from verdant themselves, that I have seen us the verdant yeast

Trying @pilgrimhudd rum and raisin stout.
Pours dark and viscous. Head fizzed away after pouring
Aroma, really intense dark fruit, rum. It's smells more like dark prunes. Really nice
Flavour is really nice never had anything like this before. The rum is strong but not over the top. Dark stone fruit, very coating on the palate. Carbonation is low.
Really enjoyed this, not something I would think to brew. The only down side was the carbonation and lack of head.
Thank you for sending this. I need to get a stout on quickly 👍

@pilgrimhudd I have two pale ales to send out to you. I should have something more interesting in a while. Still trying to work out what to enter into your competition.
I have a golden Brett Saison if it's something you like to try

Glad you liked it, for me the rum is a little strong for my taste but it's definitely drinkable. Pity about the lack of head and carbonation, the fig turned out better and I made them exactly the same way so I wonder if the rum or raisins were to blame. I'll get you a tropical stout in the next few weeks.
