Ok that’s it then will use glucose, anything to help the little fellows , but we’re can you get hold of it, do brew shops sell it ?Don’t worry, that’s fine. Table sugar is okay, Dextrose is better, Glucose is best. They are all sugar, the difference is the amount of work needed to ferment it. Using glucose just gives the yeast an easier time - I’m a big softie like that

Yes they do though perhaps not all? They will either have glucose or dextrose.
Thanks for that , appreciate your help , will take a look round and see if I can hold of some glucose.Yes they do though perhaps not all? They will either have glucose or dextrose.
Thought I might have a glass of my Belgian Tripel. This is what I got before the keg kicked I do have another already conditioned so not a biggie really.
It seems that you are a master at hindsight from what I have read lately. Always another ready when one kicks. Makes me hang my head in shame
I think you can get glucose in the baking section at the supermarket.Yes they do though perhaps not all? They will either have glucose or dextrose.

I don’t know to be honest, mine came from Love Brewing
Where in from it’s scon spelt with an e but not pronounced with an e. And it’s butter and then jam cream is reserved for the trifle at Christmas or for the top of a coffee with whiskey.Just had a home afternoon cream tea for mothers day and definitely jam first. More critically, is it said scone like gone, or scone like cone? Or confusingly where my Mum used to live Scone, like prune?

Dunno if it's expensive compared to HB shops...

My bad. I pushed it towards the back when the other DIPA's arrived and with feeling ****, I totally forgot about it until you posted. Well it's in the glass but won't last long. Really lovely ipa, I just brew more Belgian beers. The Belgian yeast character is well balanced against the hops. Pours lovely and clear, cracking head on it. I am not expert in this style, the only thing I could constructively say was it could be more carbed for my liking but as been off the keg a few weeks.Get that beer drunk, bottled off the keg a few weeks ago now.
Just had a quick look on google guys and it appears that you can get glucose sugar powdered not liquid from Holland and barrett for £1.99 for a 454gram box,I think you can get glucose in the baking section at the supermarket.
