My first ever bottle of homebrew. Only been carbonating for a week but purely for monitoring purposes I have cracked one open. No real head retention but it's blooming delicious, well carbonated and about 4.3%.

Nice. Give it another week or two and the head will get better.

That's what she said.

Picked these up earlier, a couple of local beers that I haven't tried yet (Bullhouse Brewery in Newtownards), a NEIPA and a bock, and also spotted the espresso martinis in the bargain bin for 75p each acheers.

I was going to moan at you for buying espresso martini - then you said 75p!

Having a barbecue and had

*White a Horse Luna Special (4.2%)
*Bad Seeds Lantern Rouge Red IPA (6.3%)
*Brass Castle Disruptor NEIPA (7.4%)

The white horse is a decent golden ale. As for the Lantern Rouge it’s pretty damm good. The disruptor was good although I would say closer to an IPA than a NEIPA.

First up the NEIPA. Well this is really very good which pleases me because there's a shortage of good breweries in NI. As you can see it certainly looks the part, and although it's a little too bitter for the style it has a fantastically intense resiny hop flavour, predominantly pineapple and passionfruit, with some grapefruit. Very enjoyable indeed.
