An espresso martini and it's damn delicious. Am I banned from the forum now??

Not at all, nice drink!

I often make these for my wife along with Amaretto sours - 2 parts Amaretto, 1 part lemon juice, 1 part sugar syrup. If you’ve not tried them, worth a go!

My 15 Minute Pale ale (pale liquid malt extract hopped with mosaic hops, boiled for just 15 minutes).

I am really pleased how this turned out, and it made for a really easy brew day, I have another bag of LME and some cascade hops which I am going to try next it should make for a great summer beer.

...add Pernod...Red Witch.

Me and an old mate from Carlisle always have a diesel with pernod depth charge for old times sake when we meet up - thought it was just us, didn't realise it was a thing

I too have bought (and unfortunately made) Lager that was so bad that it needed "something" with it; but I've never made anything that was "improved" by the addition of Pernod!

I usually stuck to Lime Juice, a "Splash" of Lemonade or Blackcurrant Juice, but I love a Pastis (cheaper French version of Pernod) poured over ice as a "chaser" on a hot day though!

Hmmm! Come on those long hot days of summer! acheers. acheers.

Is Pernod still available? I thought it had disappeared long ago. Certainly it's not seen over here where, I think, it has been rebranded as "51".
I agree with Dutto- lovely drink, but can't imagine it being used as a mixer.

Planted some late tomato seed, watched them, cared for them, wondering when the tomato leaves would form. Eventually tasted a leaf which I suspected was parsley, and it was. Its not what I am drinking tonight (which is ordinary bitter) it is what I was drinking the night I planted the seed! I definitely know the difference between a tomato seed and a parsley seed.

Along with the Tomato & Onion Sarnie came this little offering!

It’s the Wilko Hoppy Copper Bitter sat in front of a “light-box” (because I haven’t been outside for nearly three weeks now) and showing:
A) How clear it is. &
B) How much the glass needs a polish. (But I’m not stoopid enough to tell anyone!)
