My wife and I are both on stout now. I’m having the Dragon Stout, a 7.5% Jamaican stout. It’s a bit sweet and strangely a bit thin for 7.5%.
That is in my top 5 brews it is a fantastic beerThis is a new one on me, a strong (6.5%), oak-aged Crafty Hen. It’s actually very nice and puts me in mind of the I&G whiskey barrel aged beer although without the whiskey!. Maybe I should add a drop of whiskey

Yesterday tried the Coopers Pacific ale not too bad not one I would buy again. Followed by a stout 4.6ABV from Love Shack brewery, the stout failed to retain any head whatsoever. Something seriously wrong with the canning or brewing process here as the Red Ale I had previously failed in the head department.
Tonight had one of my Foreign Extra Stouts which I have tucked away for another year, followed by 'I Can't Believe it's Not Beamish
Reminder of the Red Ale
My Foreign Extra Stout, good head and lacing throughout and a fair bit stronger than 4.6 ABV stout. Love the inner glow this stout brings.

Poolside lunch in Tunisia no beer choice at all but the local lager is better than the Spanish stuff. Alone today as my wife has the tourist belly hopefully it clears up before the dinner starts.
Celebrating my birthday with the first pour of a pseudo lager brewed last month. I was a bit heavy handed with the Tettnanger, but that’s not a bad thing!
We don't normally indulge weekdays, but we've been hard at it, loading in to a hired van what we're keeping and selling from my parent's house.
So I twisted SWMBO'D arm and voila!
A glass of the Westerham Spirit of Kent for me and a glass of Brewdog Found lager for her.
Tasty!

My wife and I found another nice pub for lunch today. This one appears to have a Michelin Star too. Nice people and nice food. I had a local ale from Kent Brewery and a beer from Adnams.

Birthday treat. This is absolutely delicious. I’m finding that I’m coming round to pricey wines.

Had to heavily tip the waiter in the restaurant to get a bottle to take away tonight as it seems I’m on the balcony for a second night with the wife’s bad case of holiday stomach. Not been a great trip so far. Here 3 nights knackered the first with a long days travelling then wife sick last and tonight

My second, and third, glass of NEIPA seem to have recovered the haze and are more fruity than the first glass. Certainly they were colder because the line and tap were chilled by the first glass - this may affect haze but I’m not sure about the flavour. Curious
