My ribbing of sparklers is mostly just tongue-in-cheek parochialism, but I am a southerner and am used to the southern way of pouring a beer. While it isn't that big of a deal, I honestly don't understand why you'd put so much effort into making beer thick. They seem designed to make everything feel like a bloody Boddingtons on the tongue.
Now you've said it, I'm sure beers poured through a sparkler all taste the same too, but I'm sure that's just my imagination.
