I currently have 2 FV's that are empty, 1 with wine still fermenting and 2 DJ's sat empty, am I the only one that feels like I am wasting the potential to brew at the moment? - I have 5 gallons of IPA conditioning in bottles and currently have to buy beer/wine if I want to drink :(

Do you guys think of it as wasted potential aswel?

Cheers
Colin

It depends how many empty bottles/ kegs you've got......I only see it as wasted potential when there's empties everywhere instead of fulls.

AN EMPTY BOTTLE IS A SAD BOTTLE.

Don't let them dry. Buying beer is feeding the government.

Definitely wasted potential :D

I've been brewing for a whole month so obviously know everything ;) :p :D

My personal rule is that, as of me finding out how to brew my own, is that I don't pay HM Govt any more tax for beer drunk in my house, or my friends houses, sadly my local landlord objects to me taking my own along for a cappage charge ;)

I've now got 1 keg being drunk, one being sterilised prior to syphoning a brew into it tomorrow, 10 bottles maturing and 30 odd bottles to fill when I syphon into my future kegs, plan being to bottle 25% and sup the rest from the keg.

eBay is a good source for cheap kegs and S30 cylinders, or soda stream cylinders if not well described :D

Brew and be merry is becoming my motto.
