Hi all,

Back again to melt heads.
I want to wall mount my reg(s)

I am about to put a stout on that I want to serve on 70/30 mixed gas.
I haven't got a mixed gas regulator yet and was considering the MK4 mixed gas reg.
I'm struggling to find a hose that have the appropriate end fittings for this.
I'm unsure if I'm just doing my research wrong or what but have literally turned up with zilch.
Other regs with hoses built in exist but for sake of consistency I would like to get the MK4 reg for mixed gas from Kegland...

Just due to the size of my space and where the bottles are going, I tried bottle mounting my CO2 reg and it really doesn't work for my spacing and setup especially if I am getting a 70/30 mixed gas bottle in the same space, so wall mounting my regs and running hoses too them is my best option

Has anybody got a mixed gas reg with a hose? Or have managed to source a hose that I can run from their mixed gas bottle to the reg?

If I need to get a different reg than the MK4 N2 reg for this that has a hose built in then so be it

Just trying to understand what your issue is. That hose should fit the bottle no problem, DIN477 is the correct size and the other end will fit onto the regulator being a male DIN477, so no issue there. Then the regulator (assuming it's the Kegland N2 reg which works for mixed gas) seems to have a John Guest fitting that will take a 5/16" (8mm) gas line. What am I missing?

The MK4 N2 reg has a different bottle fitting from the MK4 CO2 reg.
As far as I can see it's an incompatible fitting and would require a different hose.

The hose in the link is for the CO2
As I bought the CO2 MK4 from BKT

The MK4 reg for mixed gas has a different fitting
As far as I can see it's an incompatible fitting and would require a different hose.

The link states that the hose is for many different gases. Certainly lists usages like welding, which would use a number of different gases like CO2, Argon, etc. Can't find anything there that states it's specific for CO2.

I see the regulator has a 'Type 50' fitting. Which I believe is an Australian standard. The equivalent standards in Europe/UK are DIN477/BS341/W21.8. I'm not sure if there's anything specific to that connector that only permits the use of N2. I have found a listing of the US CGA standard connectors that includes the CGA320 size which I got on a CO2 regulator (I changed it for a DIN477 one) and in which it states that it is suitable for N2.

The whole thing is a minefield. So many different standards and threads. I tried to get an adaptor to convert the CGA320 to DIN477, but kept getting sent the wrong one. In the end I replaced the entire inlet nut and nipple which was a far more elegant solution.

iKegger are selling an adaptor that appears to convert the type 50 connector to DIN477/BS341/W21.8, Which seems to bear out my belief that it's just a different standard connection and not specific to N2.

I've noticed this is the case and it's what's contributing to my hesitation on pulling the trigger on it.
That and I would like consistency between my regs.

Although on the flip side if I have what appears to be the same reg for both CO2 and my 70/30, I could end up getting them confused and turning on the wrong one

So that hose will fit to the bottle, but the other end won't fit to your regulator. You'd need a hose with a male fitting on each end. I'm assuming this is done to prevent a CO2 regulator being attached to a nitrogen or mixed gas bottle, something similar to fuel pump (petrol and diesel) nozzles. But then the Ozzies have done something different with the Type 50 connector.

Not yet

I've not bought as I've not get a reg yet which I'm kinda seeing is a little counterintuitive. Trying to match something up to a product I haven't actually got lol.

Was considering this reg tho as it'd be pretty much exactly what I need (or appears to be):

It's seems hellishly complicated. That regulator is pictured with a hose (which you need for your setup) but there are none that I can find on that site.
