I think this all going to go horribly wrong...
Around here (rural Somerset) it seems like the lockdown is already over. Roads have never been busier, loads of fat people out in gym kit, neighbours having friends round for drinks (and haircuts!).
People have already interpreted the headlines to fit in with what they want.

Same here, I'm in a national hot spot due to the shipyard being an essential industry. Combine that with some locals who have the IQ of a flip flop, it's all going nipple up.

We have one of the lowest amount of cases in the country. It really surprises me, given how the f***wits around here behave.
I'm still working, despite having a weakened immune system, wife and one son both still working.
Other son is isolating in a farmhouse miles from anywhere with his girlfriend as he is type 1 diabetic.
I really hope that karma puts in an appearance, and bites these ignorant twonks in the arse...

Come on Boris, let me go fishing ffs.
I promise not to drink myself into oblivion on a beach and then require an ambulance.

OK, I promise not to phone an ambulance.

well fishing is a type of self-isolation anyway - so why not - plus there's a good* chance your recent illness was covid.

*good isn't the best word to describe what you had but hopefully there is a positive outcome if you had it.

finally self isolating with the mrs for 7 or 14 days is not good for anyones mental health (I include mrs DOJ in that) thank gowd I have to do the shopping and I can cycle and she can't 😉

That's it DoJ.
I can go to a beach and not see anyone for 24 hours, nevermind bump into anyone.

And yes, isolating with your missus is like a 3 week all inclusive holiday to begin with. All romantic and that type of stuff then you want to go and do blokey stuff after it. I do any way.
I love swmbo to bits but I want to eff off on my own and cause no harm whilst catching nowt, but enjoying catching nowt lol..

My mate is a retired older fella.
Doesn't drink or smoke.
He used to play golf before this kicked off, sometimes two rounds a day.
I really, really, hope that activities like that are allowed again. He's suffering, there must be lots of people in the same boat.

Back from work now. One thing I noticed is there's loads less people wearing masks than there was a few days ago. Indicates to me people either think C-19 has disapeared or the easing of the lock down means there's less risk

With only one of the big six landlords cancelling rents, tenants fear for their future

But even before Covid-19 forced pubs to call time indefinitely, trouble was brewing. Many of the 9,126 proprietors who lease their premises from one of the UK’s major pub companies, or pubcos, have been fighting to reform or abolish the “beer tie” for years.

The tie, currently the subject of a regulatory review, is an ancient but controversial deal under which pubs buy their beer at inflated prices from the business that owns their property. In exchange, supposedly, they pay lower rents.

We are going to be Germany MK2 the idiots will make sure of that and they are the ones who will shout loudest when they enforce lockdown again because they couldn't follow simple rules.

And here is a list of todays idiots, how many don't get caught.-

Driver stopped at Junction 36 travelling from Edinburgh to Wigan to buy a puppy! The driver was issued a fine, however 10 minutes later they ignored the instruction to return back home and was issued a second fine before being escorted back up north.

Another 2 escorted from the county. One decided to do their shopping in Barrow rather than Morecambe, the other felt the need to have a drive to Cumbria from Wigan #StayHome

Two men from Preston have been "escorted" out of Cumbria by police after going for a drive during the Covid-19 lockdown. Cumbria Police said the men's excuse of going for "just a drive out" did not constitute an essential journey. https://bbc.in/2YN9Efu Photo: Cumbria Police

People have been caught unnecessarily driving hundreds of miles into Cumbria during lockdown. Some came from as far as London and Essex say
@CumbriaRoadsPol
. Reasons varied from people wanting 'a day out in the Lake District', visiting family and even buying a puppy.

Chorley not another one i hear you ask. Sadly yes, this family from Lancashire were away from home so were handed a fine and sent straight back #protectingcumbria #1807

Another fine, another wasted journey from Manchester #protectingcumbria #1807

I've been saying for the past 3 days, because of the hot weather, VE day celebrations and bank holiday, and from what I've seen of my fellow Londoners, were tied on for a second wave and second lock down

Seems BJ has gone rogue with his 7pm speech. He has neither told the devolved parliaments (lots across msm about that) but neither did he tell his cabinet

According to the Mail on Sunday’s Harry Cole, the decision to start recording the speech before its contents had been supposedly agreed by the cabinet, which met earlier today, did not go down well.

Cabinet are RAGING. On paper they’re meant to meet later to discuss 50 page doc and virus fight. But PM has already recorded his message, sent doc to the printers and seemingly made all the decisions with the so called quad... what’s the point of even dialling in, some asking.

I followed BJ on the Guardian blog. BJ forgot to mention this is just for England only, so we'll have to see what Scotland, Wales and N.Ireland decide to do

The message i got was, you can have more freedom behave carry on doing distancing be sensible, i can live with that its not hard to understand but i imagein he lost 25% of the population with the R number bit

Schools and shops could open in June. Lets hope that we don't have resurgence of infections, like Germany announced today, between now and then. Or all that's up the swaney and it's back to lockdown

What he did this evening was irresponsible. Now you have people in Scotland, NI, and Wales thinking Johnson's measures apply to them.
