Looks like Cranky, Mallard and BJ are trying to top trump each other
Rubbish. It looks like each of them is trying to govern their country effectively and are being thwarted by an obtuse PM who can't even brief his own cabinet on his plans.

They have already decided.I followed BJ on the Guardian blog. BJ forgot to mention this is just for England only, so we'll have to see what Scotland, Wales and N.Ireland decide to do
They have already decided.
So the way I read it I can drive to a park or beach and sunbath providing I keep 2 meters from a strangers but can't visit my kids and grandkids even if I keep the distance.
It seems to be the same everywhere In Bath, people are out and about as though it was a normal day.I think this all going to go horribly wrong...
Around here (rural Somerset) it seems like the lockdown is already over. Roads have never been busier, loads of fat people out in gym kit, neighbours having friends round for drinks (and haircuts!).
People have already interpreted the headlines to fit in with what they want.
Surely the fines would have best been charged by the distance caught away from home. Say anywhere more than X miles away from home and you get a fine £30. X+25 = £60 X+50 £75 - use google maps as the judge. And here is a list of todays idiots, how many don't get caught.-

Driver stopped at Junction 36 travelling from Edinburgh to Wigan to buy a puppy! The driver was issued a fine, however 10 minutes later they ignored the instruction to return back home and was issued a second fine before being escorted back up north.

Another 2 escorted from the county. One decided to do their shopping in Barrow rather than Morecambe, the other felt the need to have a drive to Cumbria from Wigan #StayHome

Two men from Preston have been "escorted" out of Cumbria by police after going for a drive during the Covid-19 lockdown. Cumbria Police said the men's excuse of going for "just a drive out" did not constitute an essential journey. https://bbc.in/2YN9Efu Photo: Cumbria Police

People have been caught unnecessarily driving hundreds of miles into Cumbria during lockdown. Some came from as far as London and Essex say
@CumbriaRoadsPol
. Reasons varied from people wanting 'a day out in the Lake District', visiting family and even buying a puppy.

Another fine, another wasted journey from Manchester #protectingcumbria #1807
THing is whatever we do or however we ease lockdown however slow the infection rate will increase that is obvious to anyone so I cannot understand the ciritcal point on that, but it is how it is done and controlled.
Thought this was pretty good
The bloke says the R figure is going to climb however they ease lockdown, I hope he has got that one wrong.
I think the days of police stopping drivers to check where they are going is now over, what's to stop you driving to the grandkids house on you way to the place you intend to take excersise and stay 2 meters away from them.
each work place can ensure safe working condition and get guidance how from the government
We could use trucks with water cannons on them, strange that we got rid of the ones we had!!!!I think he means look out for all the idiots going to the park and beach, them pics from London are shocking, they need to install those sprinklers like at football grounds, let em all settled then turn the feckers on
Mixed messages again but I do think the government are taking their own advice and washing their hands........of any responsibility.
