The 12.3% refers to the whole of the NHS workforce. The 20% refers to frontline healthcare workers within the NHS. It is not my word, those are official figures.

There is no point in discussing this with you if you truly believe that your opinion is of equal value to facts. We've done this before.

I spend my working day dealing with this mess, I don't know why I even bothered to engage your nonsense again.
I'm not here to argue, your the one throwing so called facts. I'm entitled to my opinion as are you. I've only stated how I was and how I don't yet know or believe the full facts are presented at the moment. It's only a few weeks back that the facts we were told, only the elderly and people with underlying issues where at risk, this turned out total bollocks.
I don't profess to have facts at all. Obviously you have them all.
Try getting off your high horse.
As for the 12.3% of ethnic in the whole NHS senior front line surgeons and doctors , I think that's bollocks to, I don't know which hospitals or doctors surgeries you've been into for the last 20 years and No I'm not racist in any way.

It has been reported that the BAME community are seeing far higher death rates than any other, the doctor whos videos have been posted here puts it down to a lack of vitamin D I am now taking two a day as he does.

A poster for an End The Lockdown Rally: “Bring your children” “If you’re sick still come. It’s your right.”

Are they asking to end the lockdown or end the lockdown rally? Two different things. I'm not saying they're not particularly intelligent, but....

CHESHIRE cat - and so would the leader of the labour party if they were in power at present - they are in it for themselves - all of them - except one MP that I know of with no blemishes at all in his entire career.

I'm a member of the Labour Party and I voted for Keir. I listened to him on question time today and he came across very well I think he'll tie Boris in knots. Raab also came across well a lot better than Boris would. I don't agree with this view that all politicians are in it for themselves there are good dedicated people across all parties. I just don't like Tory policies and their Les se fairer approach.

He is not for me. his track record as head of CPS let him down in my eyes. jimmy saville slipped the noose in 2009, 4 times charges were dropped/no further action.and them young girls in Rotchdale were them grooming gangs were rife. not just him mind i know but he was the head at the time.

I’m not an expert but the CPS only prosecute if the police provide them with enough evidence. Saville was at it for years but the police couldn’t prove it so not prosecution. I would assume the same in Rochdale. Talking about Rochdale what about Cyril Smith?

Guys
Keir did an enquiry into why Savile wasn't prosecuted and here is part of a report from the Independent

But there were difficulties in proceeding with a case where “the victim does not support a police investigation, where there is no forensic evidence and only very limited, or even in some instances no, witness evidence, particularly in relation to allegations which date back a number of years.”

If people don't fancy Keir fair enough but blaming him for Savile is incorrect.

I agree CC and even if some mud sticks what has the decisions he made back then (bearing in mind the quote from the independent in your last post) got to do with how he will lead the labour party.

SWMBO never watches anything political on TV but she heard Keir getting stuck into someone today over some of the decisions the Government have made she said he came over well.

Police would like to speak to this man "in case he has information which could help"
A man walked up to a care worker and gave her a hug before licking her face, police have said.

Officers said the woman, 23, was at a petrol station in High Street, Brimington, at about 17:15 BST on 14 April when the man approached her.

She was wearing her work uniform, the force added, and it is claimed the man thanked her for being a care worker before the alleged assault.

Police have released an image of a man they would like to speak to.

That applies to most viruses. The common cold is a perfect example of this. For some people it'll lay you low for a couple of days. For more vulnerable people, it can lead to respiratory complications, and in some cases, death.

Blimey! I wasnt aware the common cold could kill particularly vulnerable people

What a total scumbag lock him up for 20 years

Listening to 5live as I type and they have just reported what I have seen over the last couple of days people are getting fed up of staying in and are going out in their cars, l hope these people don't moan when they bring in a tougher lock down with police stopping motorists, I have my letter telling the police I am a key worker and SWMBO also has one as she is a care worker so it won't effect us but I feel sorry for those that have followed the guidelines and now will lose out.

This sort of thing keeps cropping up on the benefits of maintaining Vitamin D levels. For those confined to a flat, who can't get out in the sunshine, perhaps a supplement is the way forward:

and this one is a bit weird: it seems to suggest that smokers have a better chance of dealing with covid-19 even if they're going to succumb to other equally dreadful illnesses. Interestingly, as a kid, I had a hacking cough every winter which kept me awake most of the night for days on end. As soon as I started smoking, in the middle of one of these episodes, it stopped, never to return. Nevertless, I'm not ready to reach for the Old Holborn and liquorice papers just yet.

"Two pet cats have tested positive for coronavirus in New York state, the first pets in the US to contract the infection, say officials "

Knowing the way cats operate, I suspect they infected themselves on purpose to try to wipe out the human race and take over the world
