I’ve yet to face the shops, but thankfully have long being in the habit of buying stuff I don’t need so have several years worth of purchases of random dried goods to use up.
As for panic buying the Extent of it for me is getting my next home brew order in now rather than towards the end of April/early May (As concerned a lot of the suppliers will have to close before too long).
I wouldnt worry too much about online HBS. If you go to any of the usual suspects they're saying to be patient with delivery times as they have have a big increase in demand. It's high street shops that dont sell food that are in trouble because due to social distancing and worrying about spending money on stuff other than food. Many high st shops are completely empty
