My worries are over then chippy . I fear this may stretch to end of year before we can see light, just hope I'm being pessimistic.I think its 7 days then if you are still unwell 14.

How many members work but wouldn't get full sick pay for the two weeks self isolating.
Ah well, we can only hope that we have done things properly and think "It's only money!" when the black-cloud of despondency starts to descend!
Sorry to hear about your wedding. It could be worse @Dutto ~ you could be like me - due to get married in July! Honeymoon bookded in Spain (Jet2), etc etc. All looking a bit ropey now!
Well I'm afraid when I quote for work, should I put all these extras on as a %. I wouldn't get a job, it's hard enough covering my van expenses and tax with people working for cash, I can't afford a pension either so I must work till I can't. If you want any work done I'd be glad to add all those expenses onto your quote however I know you would choose a cheaper option. This is the reality, how many times even by bankers amongst others do I get, how much for cash or getting ridiculously under cut from the people who do foreigners or Barry's retired down the road and works for nothing. Not meaning to come across as unsympathetic, but those who are self-employed should have income protection. You have absolutely no rights and safety nets. Not having it would be akin to not having car insurance.
I recon it's been here for months. I was speaking to an old mate yesterday I hadn't seen for a few years. Said he was ill before Christmas, unable to sleep lying down completely flat as he had a "drowning" sensation in his throat. Went to the hospital and was told he had a chest infection, which sounds more like pneumonia...I was like this for a few days a couple of months back but it went as soon as it came with no other effects....
I fully understand where you're coming from. I generally use tradies I know do a good job, so not necessarily cheap.Well I'm afraid when I quote for work, should I put all these extras on as a %. It's not easy for everyone.

Fair play Pete, if only everyone had your points of view and yes I have customers who understand but never enough so sometimes must sub contract.I fully understand where you're coming from. I generally use tradies I know do a good job, so not necessarily cheap.
For instance a handyman I use costs me $60 an hour. I get paid less than $30. I've always presumed the difference to be him paying insurance, pension, van etc.
