I am Health and Safety Rep at Royal Mail Wigan.
So every morning I've been sanitising everyones vans. So most probably from there as we are the biggest office in the country.
Noticed yesterday morning I felt a little chilly and lethargic.
Then about 4pm on my delivery my head didn't feel right, everything was annoying me and it felt scatty.

Came home and straight to bed, pumping in sweat and burning up.
Now this is the weird thing. All night I could sleep has my head was totally scrambled, all I could think about was pots, pans and cutlery. But they were a complete mess and when I tried to arrange them in my head gypsies would stop it.
About 7 am this morning they all aligned then disappeared but my head feels like its going to explode.
Now I'm totally wiped out, can feel it moving to my chest now.

Wouldn't wish this on anyone so be careful guys

One of my workmates has just returned after having a bad time of it he said he started with a tickly cough and it went downhill rapidly from there, on his worst day he said it was like trying to breath through a straw he was going to call the hospital but decided not to and on the next day he felt a little better and gradually he came through, he is still feeling the effects and hasn't got the energy he used to have but he is getting there.

Are you sure you haven't been on the magic mushrooms

Get well soon BD!!

Got to admit they didnt mention cutlery or Gypsies on the NHS symptoms!!
Have to admit though when I am ill with a temp I always have weird vivid and messed up dreams which are always really frustrating and irritable.

My brother and his Partner had what seems like it, they both just felt wiped out was their worse symptoms along with no taste or smell ect and a bit of a temp

They have been discussing people having weird dreams on 5 live (not people with the virus) they think its down to screwed up sleeping patterns and anxiety.

Id been having weird dreams for weeks.
But the cutlery I was awake trying to get to sleep.

I am glad Boris said we will carry on as we are until we pass the the 5 tests they have laid out as it looks like it could be going pear shaped in Germany.

Germany ‘considering tightening lockdown again’ after just two weeks

Germany is considering reimposing lockdown measures amid warnings the number of coronavirus cases could be about to rise again. Epidemiologists have said the virus’s basic reproduction number – it’s R value – has crept back up to 1.0, the threshold between growth and decline. Angela Merkel has warned that hospitals will be overwhelmed by the end of June should the number rise even a little higher, making a second lockdown inevitable. Shops, schools and other public buildings have slowly begun reopening over the past week or so, but retailers and senior government figures have been pushing for an even faster lifting of restrictions.

However, Ms Merkel has so far held firm, warning: ‘We have achieved so much, but we are not out of the woods yet, and we cannot gamble it all away.’ She cautioned that if the virus reached an R value of 1.1 then ‘we will be back at the limits of our health system in terms of intensive care beds’ by October.

According to Ms Merkel, a value of 1.2 would ‘hit the full capacity’ as early as July, while a resurgence to 1.3 would take the health system to breaking point by the end of June. ‘So you can see how little room for manoeuvre we have,’ she added.

When Germany’s 16 states agreed to move towards partially lifting restrictions, the R value had fallen from a peak of 1.3 to 0.7. However, Lothar Wieler, the head of the Robert Koch Institute for infectious diseases, says it has risen back up to 1. He added that the increase alone was no cause for alarm, but stressed that ‘we don’t want the number of cases to rise again’. Mr Wieler said Germany has, compared to other countries, been successful so far in restricting the spread of the virus.

But he added: ‘Against the background of the easing (of restrictions), let’s ensure we can continue to defend this success we have achieved together. We don’t want the number of cases to rise again. ‘Let’s, insofar as is possible, stay at home, let’s stick to the reduced contact.’ Academics have suggested public life may gradually return to normal if certain conditions are met, including the R value stabilising at a low level. Mr Wieler continued: ‘The number should stay below one – that is the big goal.’

Earlier on Tuesday, the institute said Germany’s confirmed coronavirus cases increased by 1,144 to 156,337. The death toll rose by 163 to 5,913. On Monday, the data showed confirmed cases up by 1,018, with the death toll rising by 110.

Fantastic 'selfish London twit' (SLT) story courtesy of the mother-in-law down in Newquay, Cornwall;

Said SLT had gone down to Cornwall for a 'little break'. She was walking along a beach when she was caught short. So to relieve herself she went into a cave. Unfortunately for SLT whilst in the cave the tide came in and SLT was cut off and stranded in the cave. Because all the locals were observing the lockdown there was noone else on the beach and SLT was shouting for two hours before anyone heard her and called the coastal rescue :laugh8:

Unbelievable.

This taxi from Leeds so nearly made it to the Lake District. (approx 120 miles) We showed him the way back to the M6. #StayHomeSaveLives #1807/2400

I dont think there is anymore evidence needed to present to all those 'captains of industry' and tabloid journo halfwits as to why we need to continue the lockdown and not,'...but,but the economy'

We are delighted to reveal that new Intercity Express Train 800025 has been named Captain Tom Moore this morning for his remarkable fundraising achievements during #COVID19. This follows a huge amount of requests from staff and members of the public for him to be recognised.

The park opposite is still heaving. The past few day's I've been avoiding it as its been so sunny. Today I thought it would be a lot less full as it was cold and has been raining today so I thought I'd cycle through it on the way home. Big mistake.
I was cycling along avoiding pedestrians, other cyclists, joggers etc when I got distracted looking at a funny little dog. I looked back at the path to find a small child directly in front of me. I slammed on the anchors but couldn't unclip fast enough. Needless to say I toppled over 😭 . Fortunately I was next to the grass so landed on that instead of the path (I've fallen over on tarmac a couple of years ago - it isnt fun). So I was fine.
Had I not took the hit. The little girls head was exactly the same height as where my feet and chainring are. I think you can imagine the 'mess'
I dont think I'll be going through the park again till next winter when it's too dark and cold for lockdown breakers
