Yep and talking about nuts -

It's basically this, Like a coffee machine with the nuts at the top. But instead of 'sheet' it comes out like a Mr Whippy ice cream and you just bring your own jar and fill it

literally never heard of or seen either of these things before in my life.
That’s awesome lol.

Also that Donald Trump video is amazing, and he speaks a lot like a Mormon. When he encounters a difficulty he goes back to the beginning of the sentence and says the same thing again lol. We had some come round our house a few times just like that. I wonder how long it takes to be able to completely believe your own ********* as much as he does.

He really is totally insane.

Also that woman is brilliant being able to say that to him. Hopefully it won’t cost her too much.

Four men have been summonsed to court under new coronavirus legislation after a barbecue set fire to four hectares of Derbyshire moorland.

Police said the men, from Leeds and in their 20s, were accused of meeting people outside of their household, and unnecessary travel.

Fire crews were called to the moorland just off the A628 on the Woodhead Pass at 20:00 BST on Friday.

Police said the men were traced after the fire.

Firefighter Calum Beckett said the barbecue fire was one of two blazes he attended on the moorland on Friday.

He said: "It makes me feel frustrated and upset.

"Currently we're assisting the NHS in delivering prescriptions to patients in Derbyshire.

"At the end of the day when we're in the middle of the moors, that's taking us away from our other work, or going to a house fire"

A court date for the men has not yet been set.

For some reason, Americans revere their presidents, even when they didn't vote for them. I don't recall any occasion where members of the House of Commons ever stood and applauded a Prime Minister.

Almost makes up for the 17.8 Tons of PPE that Trump sent to China for free in February.

Never mind where it is going - who is making it?

He's up to £4m now. By the time he's 100 he'll have saved the NHS singlehandedly

A 99-year-old war veteran has raised more than £2m for the NHS by aiming to walk 100 lengths of his back garden before his 100th birthday.
Capt Tom Moore, from Keighley in Yorkshire, initially planned to raise £1,000 through the challenge.

Trump causing chaos as usual;

"US President Donald Trump says he has instructed his administration to halt funding to the World Health Organization (WHO).

He said the WHO had "failed in its basic duty" in its response to the coronavirus outbreak.

He accused the UN body of mismanaging and covering up the spread of the virus after it emerged in China, and said it must be held accountable"

To be fair, the WHO do have serious questions to answer regarding their early response to the outbreak, particularly their apparent willingness to uncritically take what China were saying as true considering they are a corrupted authoritarian state with no regard to human rights or the rule of law. The problem with what Trump has done is now he has politicised it; it could now emerge that Covid19 was made in the staff kitchen at the WHO HQ and people would still back them over Trump thus allowing them to get off Scott free, such are people's hated of Trump. He should have shut up and allowed the US equivalent of a public enquiry into the whole thing after it is over. Which, incidentally, I hope happens with PHE's apparent dogmatic handling of the testing fiasco, but now it's not the time.

Whilst I agree, China have some serious questions to answer (not that they will) I was listening to R4 this morning and some American professor of something or other was saying that the problem will be that with Trump withdrawing funding poorer areas of the world like India and Africa will really struggle to fight the pandemic without help and funding from the WHO. But this will loop back on America because if there's no vaccine (yet) to vaccinate Americans the virus will rip through these poor areas of the world and further (re)infect America because we live in a globalised world

Poorer areas of the world like India, India is not poor they are a nuclear nation with a space program, they just don't share the wealth out fairly, Africa yes i agree well parts of it, Trump is his own worst enemy

That's basically what I meant as Im aware that india has a space programme. The poverty I was talking about was all those poor millions who will be hammered when C-19 really hits India

Quick heads up for anyone who gets ill, and like me doesn't know if they've actually had it or not.
My GP just rang to check up on me and she told me, that 50% of people who get the virus end up with a secondary bacterial infection.

Thought that might help anyone, if like me, you have to pretty much self diagnose, but the doc did just tell me she's certain I've had it and should now make a full recovery.

The missus is fine.
Typical.

Thats good to know because even though obviously things like anti-bacterial hand wash and wipes wont prevent anyone contracting the initial c-19 virus. Using anti-bacterial stuff may prevent getting a secondary infection.

Glad to know She Who Is Fine (SWIF) is OK

I hope it works MyQul, but to say we'd been/we've been trying to stay as sanitised as possible is an understatement.
Nothing even came into the house without being bleached down.
Of course I could have made a mistake somewhere along the line, easily done I'd imagine.

I guess you cant eradicate EVERY virus molecule, no matter how hard to try

Well after all the fanfare about the nightingale hospitals, so far they've only admitted 19 patients. I was wondering a few days ago where the (relvantly qualified for ICU) staff were all going to come from. I'm guessing they cant find the relevantly qualified staff for more patients

"London’s Nightingale hospital has remained largely empty, with just 19 patients being treated at the facility over the Easter weekend, HSJ understands"

Exclusive: Nightingale largely empty as ICUs handle surge

I read yesterday that if someone who has it coughs in a room particles can stay airborne for 3 hours ashock1 they did go on to say a single one of these wouldn't give you covid-19 but sitting in the room wouldn't be a good idea, this demonstrates why this is so easy to catch even if you think you are taking all the precautions you can you just never know..

*sigh*

Yet again we have a case of Boris derangement syndrome. You haven't even read the article properly and taken on board it's point.

The government are warned that ICU capacity could be breached during the peak of the pandemic. They respond by creating thousands of extra places, in the space of a few days, in unused exhibition centres. Fortunately, it seems that we are only (only, lol) at 80% ICU capacity even though we are possibly nearing peak.

Normal human being - 'What a wonderful story of the NHS / Army / etc etc pulling together to provide more ICU capacity in a national emergency. How wonderful that the peak doesn't look anywhere near as bad as some of the experts worse case scenarios. Hurrah!'

Boris derangement syndrome idiots- ' Boris is an *****, ha ha, now they look stupid. It was probably all a publicity stunt. Or aliens. Blaa blaa blaa.....'

Boris derangement syndrome idiots had they not built the Nightingale hospitals and they were needed - ' Boris is an *****, ha ha, now he looks stupid. He should have listened to the scientists. He's like Trump. Or aliens. Blaa blaa blaa.......'
