For me its the enviroment, seeing pictures of the citys around the world now all the pollution is going away, people hearing bird song as they walk but for me the pic of the himalayas a guy took from his village he had never seen them for 30 years, i will take loads of positives from this as i think a lot of people will, we have to learn from this but sadly i think the big corporations and money men will just carry on as normal with people like Trumppy boy in the world there is no hope

Theres a couple of greatits that have been frequenting my balcony looking for insects that have never visited before. So I've put a bird feeder out to try and encourage them to stay after the lockdown finishes

Nothing like waking up to a pair of great ****.
I think this may be the first time the world and our busy lives has been put on pause. It would be a good time to consider how we want to move forward if we had the choice.

I continue to support a local organic farm, but at this time I wish we had our old milkman back again. More localised shopping can only be a good thing and we seem to be getting some sense of community back again.
More people are cooking for themselves. More people are taking their health more seriously, many are starting to become interested in gardening - and enjoying doing it.

Best of luck to Bevvied. I seriously thought you were on the mend. Something to watch out for for anyone else to get it.

From todays news.

The president of Ireland's Sinn Fein party, Mary Lou McDonald, says she is "responding well" to medication after health complications caused by coronavirus.

Ms McDonald said she was "very unwell" for weeks before testing positive for the virus over the weekend and also developing post-viral pleurisy in her right lung.

In a statement she said the infection had been "a setback" in her recovery but said she is no longer infectious and hopes to return to work next week.

Isnt it to cover your ears so the virus doesnt get in that way?
Well, as Necessity said, "Frank Zappa is the mother of Invention", but which may do you put it on? Hooks at the front, you can't see; hooks at the back, you can't think; hooks under your chin, you can't open your mouth far enough to get a beer in, let alone an Old Holborn. I'd go for a bit of cotton wool in each ear, myself.

Trump better not see that lot. He'll send in the marines to nick it all

Chancellor warns of 'tough times' ahead
Chancellor Rishi Sunak, giving the daily briefing, has warned the government cannot protect the finances of every business and every household. "These are tough times and there will be more to come," he said. It comes as the number of deaths in UK hospitals reached 12,107, an increase of 778 on Monday's total.

'One in five deaths' linked to virus
More than one in five deaths in England and Wales is now linked to coronavirus, the Office for National Statistics has said. New figures showed the virus was mentioned on 3,475 death certificates in the week ending 3 April.

Now look guys, all this talk about the NHS and Brexit (oopth) and other massively depressing things is all very enlightening, but is no one going to address the real issue here?

I've even found a shop that has a peanut butter machine

I’m gonna need a description and an explanation dude. It sounds awesome lol

I must admit i like a slice of toast with peanut butter melting into it accompanied by the next slice. :laugh8:

I picture it as a like a coffee machine with nuts in the top that get ground into a paste when you press a button and some peanut butter comes out the bottom in a perfect sheet. Ready for the toast as you say lol

Or possibly like a vending machine with jars of loads of different sorts (including the greatest peanut butter ever made - M and S maple and pecan flavour... droooool)

Then you can select a jar and it unscrews it and dispenses a measured quantity (generous of course, no one likes going thin with peanut butter)

It's basically this, Like a coffee machine with the nuts at the top. But instead of 'sheet' it comes out like a Mr Whippy ice cream and you just bring your own jar and fill it
