Yes, I'm off the airport straight from work tomorrow night. :D

I have no idea about chat - I'll need to ask the admins. :?

Hope you all have a great time :thumb: I`ll definetly make the next event and hope to see lots of pics posted of the spring thing :D

cheers guys wish I was coming though :(

Remember not to label all the bottles, judging bottle just needs the entry sticker on it.

Did you get your labels in the post? Just label two as you wish but with the supplied label on and have the bottle to be judged only with a supplied label.

Does it matter if the crown cap is labelled or written on?
I don't label my beers but there's always a brew number on the cap.

Also, I posted a few days ago that “when I give beers to those who won't leave them a while to settle again or don't know how to pour them, I chill the pints overnight and then carefully decant and re-bottle in 500ml without sediment” - will the judges make allowances for sediment disturbed in transportation? I'm just wondering whether to compromise carbonation and present clear beer, or hope that I can transport them with minimal disturbance.

Dropped my bottles off at the brewery yesterday. Really nice people.

Quite hard to find...I drove around Ridge Lane three times...I think that Crimewatch were phoned a few times. :?

There is a row of terraced houses on the left as you drive in (or the right as you drive out!) and you need to look for a narrow tarmacadam track/alley between house numbers 106 and 108. Go down there and there is a large car park and really tidy looking building. Brewery looks good.

See you Saturday.

Clarity and condition are aspects that the judges look for. Points ar deducted for anything away from what is deemed perfect. However the judges only pour the first 100ml so if it has rested overnight then it should have settled down enough to be well presented.

Ok. Didn't think I'd be able to make it due to time and financial constraints but it looks like I can come down for the Saturday - mmm... two 3 hours train journeys.
