Looks like I may be good to go for Friday and Saturday, then off on a flyer on Sunday morning to make it back for the Christening! don't ask me how but I think I've winged it with the Mrs

Thats good news LB :thumb:

Coming to this late - hopefully not too late if I can put an entry form in by email and paypal or bank transfer the fees.

So - camping, what, where, how much etc?

Assume bringing cornies is also an option?

Steve

Hi Steve

have you read through the info on the web page (see button on banner) the info you need might all be there- no charge for camping at the brewery. Best not to bring cornies as will be drinking alongside paying customers during opening hours.

Don't let him enter! . . . His beers are too good!!

Admittedly my entry only went off this morning by first class post

Why is it that the classes I wanted to enter only had one other entrant in until this weekend  Now there are thousands . . . I thought I actually had a chance of coming second :(

So not a £65 cheque to A leMan then? ;-) Maybe he'll be on the gate between camper-van space in car park and the toilet I'll need to use....

SWMBO has given outline permission but the Mumbler can't make it. Pity all my best beers have no category as I'm particularly liking my Orval-inspired copy and new Saison de Sauvin at the moment, though latter is VERY young. But have a nice decocted and aged lager and a few shades of stout i can enter and would be grand to meet a bunch of others so fingers x'd.

Callum's got back to me that deadline is extended till Friday so should be sortable old school with paper and cheques and stuff - IF I can find a chequebook that is.

Just posting my form off later, cheque wrote and all info filled out.Only entering 1 as i know the other i have is just as bad, lol

Forms sent off today :) sent it recorded delivery so hopefully it should get there in time :)

For the bottles can i take them down with me on the Friday or do i need to deliver them a bit before, i will drop them off as its not too far away and should be a ride out on the bike.

This looks to have built up to a cracker of an event, just wish I could have gone.

For those camping you might want to consider...

Wet wipes.
Black bin bags - for rubbish, tent if wet, clothes if wet etc.
Toilet Roll - Always handy to take some spare!
Bottle of water and lucozade for early Sunday morning rehydration.

If you forget anything just ask your neighbouring tent.

Have top weekend.

PS, Is this an annual event only or might we get another this year ?

I think there should be some kind of peoples choice award for the members to vote on during the day or maybe something like "best beer name" ???

If its not too late to arrange something like this. All you need are some voting slips and a box plus someone to tally.

???

That's a great Idea, but all the prizes etc have been allocated :(
But as this is our first event we are still learning and we will certainly log this idea for next years event (if this years event is as much of a success as we think it will be)

I don't think the THBF should make a prize, I reckon the Poeple that voted should be brought a round by the winner of the peoples choice award :thumb:
