I've got two Mauribrew lager 497 yeast packets for 8-15 liters each. Should I pitch both into a 22.5 litre/40 pint brew and what temperatures should I pitch them at?
I like to pitch my lagers around 7 and then let them rise up to about 10 but no more. I get very clean results with those temps. But I have never used that yeast before so cannot comment on it specifically. The temps I quoted are for liquid yeast with a proper starter.
