Hi there just bought a brewmaster bucket.
It says to clean with Tri-Sodium Phosphate I can't get hold of that what else would you guys use?

Secondly passivation. Did you fill the whole bucket up with water and the required amount of star san or just swirl it around inside as there would be a lot wasted star san as it gets expensive using 7ouces to clean!!!!

I used washing up liquid and water to clean, but passivated as suggested with starsan. I've now brewed with it twice and had excellent results both times, no off flavours or anything so I assume it's gone to plan.

Did you fill the bucket or just added a couple of gallons?

I just bought it from eBay:

Can someone confirm if this is correct?

I always fill my bucket as far as I can with a good head of bubbles. That way when I shut the lid to let it soak (usually do this when the mash is on) the bubbles cover everything.

I then periodically give it a swirl when I walk past up until the build finished.

Never had sterility issues following that process.
