Where is the best place to source your kegs and equipment folks ?

Just had a look at my normal shop Home Brew Shop Online - but they look a bit battered as used.

They all seem to be this style now:

https://www.angelhomebrew.co.uk/en/kegging/180-reconditioned-cornelius-ball-lock-keg-189-l-.html

But Angel Home Brew seem too be out of 'em at moment - best contact them directly after the Christmas holidays.

2nd-hand Cornelius kegs are getting rarer now-days (predictably). Many of us remember them at £20-30 a piece, but you did have to clean them yourself (not so long ago - within 10 years). Maybe worth looking at some made-for-purpose, shiny new, 20L kegs?

(EDIT: I prefer the style usually available now - they are squatter than of old.)

As this is something I've been meaning to invest in for quite a while I done a bit of research. I've already got a big fridge for it all. Hopefully come March when I get paid it the missus hasn't pre-spent my bonus for this year. For the kegs themselves Home Brew Company seems the best value: http://www.thehomebrewcompany.co.uk/beer-wine-equipment-cornelius-keg-systems-c-2_25.html

£50 for a reconditioned or 3 for £135, even cheaper for used.

For all the other bits I'd pretty much decided on a ODL regulator https://www.home-brew-online.com/equipment-c40/odl-premium-co2-regulator-p3329
but then somebody posted details about a primary / secondary regulator setup the other week that looked quite neat so could be swayed to that.

Want Intertap taps on my kegerator for the bling factor https://www.home-brew-online.com/eq...ess-steel-draught-tap-with-flow-control-p3198

All the rest of the gubbins i.e. pipe, John Guest bits, disconnects, etc. would just get from wherever is cheapest. The links posted above might not be the cheapest either so would shop around.

Nice one - it’s my job for today to research and begin to order.

I’ve got a brewfridge - just need to source a nice tall one now for the kegorator

Plus 1 for the homebrew company linked above. I bought 3 reconditioned recently and in great nick, also no delivery and think there was a forum discount too. Previously had a couple from there which were also great but the two I got from one of the other well known suppliers nowhere near as good nick.

It is the other way around, the older ones are the ones that are (usually, akthough not always) the squatter ones.
