Review thread opens Christmas Eve. You can drink your beer, take a picture and keep some notes before hand. Then post in the review thread when it opens.

Harlequin ipa bottled 9th August.

Nice aroma but very murky beer.

I suspect it was nice and bright earlier but now it has gone over. Sour taste. Musty. Thx for the beer anyway....

Apologies for that, I tried a bottle before I sent it which was OK
I sent a bottle in Aug competition and it got 37 so it was a decent drink.
I'd like to send you something else to make up for it but understand if you'd rather not !

I think it is just old. Probably was better before. Its ok. Brewing is a constant lesson. Not sure why it is so murky. So many swaps and advents here. I would be having 8 pints on christmas eve. Mea culpa

Its alright mate. Just got old I think Ipas. Maybe you have a bottle there that is clearer and fresher? No need to send anything. Have loads of beer here. Thanks for sharing.

I'm sure you're beer is fine, maybe some people taking the secret Santa a bit too serious and forgetting it's not a competition and a bit of fun, keep your head up I'd have been chuffed to have received your beer (not received one yet lol).

Wow. Its not that. I am grateful. Not unhappy just feedbacking what it was. That is fine. Maybe it is better to say nothing.

Woops. Not according to your post (171). Although of course murky beer can also be caused by an infection.

So take a bottle of homebrew, give it a damn good shake, then pour it into a glass. If it ain't effin murky I'll eat my hat.
I received both my secret Santa's last week, they were both well shook up but are clearing nicely now. Should be fine by the end of the week.

Or more likely the the sediment from the bottom of the bottle has been shaken back up into suspension and not had time to settle again.

Santa delivered my second bottle this morning! Thank you Santa and for the surprise extra hops. I've not ever used Mandarina Bavaria but read lots of good things, so looking forward to trying these out. Cheers!
