Hello from the UK!

thanks for the well wishes. The trip over here was fine until the drug sniffing in UK customs took a liking to my suitcase! They tore it apart searching for contraband. Not exactly how I envisioned entering the country! But when they could not find anything illegal, they sent me on my way. Poor Jim, on the other hand, was forced to wait forever for me to clear customs!

Since then, I've been enjoying some fine ales which has more than made up for it.#

Mark, Wendy, and Nick,
Thanks for coming to see me! Was great meeting you. Those bacon sarnies were amazing. I must say, we don't have bacon like that. Jim said what we have is streaky bacon or something. Very fatty and not what you'd want in a sarnie!

Jim's beer is fermenting nicely. Went on a pub crawl today. Can't name them all but the starter was Holly Bush or something. Loved it.
