I've just finished my mash and the dark clouds have gathered and a few drops of rain have started, seemingly getting heavier ,so I've called a halt to brew day asad1

Rain's forecast for the next 2 hours then looks to be clear - will I be ok leaving the mash this long before I start the boil?
 
No I dont. I use an all in one system and the recipes I've followed seemingly dont call for sparging when using the like.Done this for my last two brews and seen no I'll effect

Brilliant, can you let me know where these recipes are as I'd like to do away with the sparge athumb..
 
That's a good idea for an outdoor brew house. not much use down here in windy Cornwall though, even my little pop up green house blew away the other dayasad.
