Hi all, can anyone point me in the direction of a supplier where I can buy quick disconnect fittings and some silicone hose. I’ve waited a while on delivery from a supplier, but got an email today to say that they had ran out of stock so refunded me the funds.

Is anyone having any success buying equipment at the moment?

Cheers
Dave

I’ve just received some 3/16 beer line from here this week: the-beer-tap-shop on eBay
Was about a week delivery but free.
Or try Malt Miller, after I managed to get into the online shop in time, a sack of malt from them arrived in days.

Are you planning on using the silicone hose with the disconnects?

Thanks for your help. I’ll take a look.

Yes, I was planning on using the quick disconnects with the silicone hose. I’ve built a 3 keg HERMS system. All I need are the hoses and connections to transfer from keg to keg. Until I source them, all I can do is extract brews.

Ah, sorry, my bad! I was thinking of corny keg disconnects! Malt miller looking out of stock, BrewUK looks like partial stock but temporarily not taking new orders. You could try angelhomebrew when their website is back up and working..?

Or Brew Builder: Brew Builder

Cheers guys. Found everything I need at brewbuilder!
I also ordered another 12” false bottom from them as the one I ordered from BrewUk has still never arrived and cost me twice the price the robbing b@&£@rds! Been trying to call them for the past 2 months and keep emailing them asking for a refund but, it looks like they’ve decided to just take my money and ignore my refund request. £40 out of pocket 🤬

Ah well,, learn by my mistakes! I’ll have an all grain brew on the go as soon as these connections arrive 👍🏻😊

Everything i ordered from brewbuilder arrived within a couple of days, so cheers again.

Might get an all grain brew going this weekend 👍🏻

I have bought most of the hardware for my electric brewery build from Lardy at Brew Builder and whilst deliveries and email responses aren’t as fast as many of the ‘high profile’ sites they are always within acceptable boundaries and I got the feeling that it was a one man outfit so understandable. I always found the equipment I bought was a very good quality.

My only gripe being that a month ago I bought some fittings and and 4 of them I ordered incorrectly, quick disconnects by coincidence about £15, I emailed to ask if I could exchange them, which would have been tagged onto another order as I have been buying bits for quite an expensive build regularly, and I have had no response.

Despite two more emails, there isn’t a telephone number that I can find, it doesn’t look like an exchange is something they are interested in. Disappointingly, and possibly a little short sighted as I have all the expensive controllers and the electrical stuff to order still.
