I cant think of a way of passing the tc10 wire through our fv lid. Ive tried a few different ways so it will stay air tight but all has failed. Does anyone have any ideas???

1 drill a hole to fit probe through
2 get a grommit and slice into side of it to fit wire -
3 bung grommit and wire into hole you made
5 Seal both sides of grommit with anti bacterial silicone sealant
6 let it dry out properly - that should work :thumb:

I used this method for inserting my PT100 probe.
I've shown my HERMS as it was easier to get at than my HLT.

I also use a tank connector fitted back to front, with a short length of blanked off copper tube on the inside.

Must get a new camera, the auto focus on this one seems to be playing up!

It doesn't really have to go in the FV, you could tape it to the outside, maybe shield it with a bit of foil so your taking the temp of the vessel and not the surrounding air temp. One less thing to sterilise.
