Kölsch head retention is a bit lousy unfortunately but it’s largely crisp with a little fruitiness and an extremely quaffable beer which I feel is vital in a Kölsch I will be brewing another batch of this before too long.

Did you use a little Carapils ?

Cheers old chap. I got some pilsner malt and some wheat. I'll have to sub the galaxy with motueka but otherwise it'll be exactly the same.

I would stick with the Galaxy Clint it is what makes this ale shine.

First off the Sierra Nevada clone I will keep a few bottles back to see how long the fantastic hop taste/aroma lasts.

Though it is stinking hot a well-refrigerated Irish FES can be included, maybe not refreshing but it will help me sleep.

Did you use a little Carapils ?

Good suggestion it was a CML grain kit which just used Pilsner and Vienna so if I brew again I think I might add maybe 5% Carapils as while very drinkable it really is a style that benefits from a head on it.
