Apparently they are ceasing their mobile service and recommending you move to EE.

Some customers are finding their handsets will not work with the new sim so PN are allowing effected customers to leave with no penalty.

Any customers here?
 
My wife is on Plusnet but has just switched to Lyca and is waiting to be switched over today. Lyca us EE and are cheap plus I've used it for a few months and signal/coverage is good.
 
They did this back in January for me. Moved to EE from Plusnet. Switch was fine, but EE demand your first-born's kidney in order to roam for a week in Europe, so I've subsequently switched to O2
