pitching the yeast

Hi guys
I've been watching a few videos on you tube some people seem to stir the yeast in and others don't bother as a newbie i was wondering what way is best or if it really matters?I'm just getting set up to do my first brew today so any advice would be great.

its irrelevant, you can either be a sprinkler or a mixer, it doesn't make much difference, the yeast will find the sugars
