Currently got a batch of TT in secondary FV, racked it over today. There is a Definate phenolic edge to it, it has been in primary for 6 days, used a dose of Nottingham but the wort temp hot a bit high in the first two days, max 24 degrees. Is there anything that will help reduce the phenols ? Cheers
 
No I used starsan, racked onto foam, I wonder if a good long secondary ferment will help?
 
When it happened to me it went straight down the sink. No known cure. But I do know some one the drank it half and half with shop bottled beers rather than throw it away.
 
Yeah that's what I was afraid of. Hmmm well at least a beer I thought I'd royally screwed up is now a great pint. I think I'll have another super Guiness to drown my woes.
