Married, 3 kids oldest 11 (thinks she's 18), youngest 4

Work in IT for a Pensions company *yawn*

Besides brewing I spend a lot of time arguing with the Mrs over how much space the brewing takes up.

I've now added to that space argument by buying a ZZR1100 that takes up a whole lot more space :D

I also dabble in :

mountain biking - nothing too technical usually though
Camping - restricted to the warmest two weeks of the year by my family
Shooting
Offroading (although that's not happening much right now since I sold my Hilux last year :( )

In reality the vast majority of my non-work time is sucked up as a taxi driver for the kids and their swim club / athletics etc, or having to be at home as a domestic god while the Mrs is out running/cycling/swimming (she's a fitness fanatic) or out working with a client (she's a personal trainer).

I'm
37 (38 in a few weeks)
1 lad who's 14
1 swmbo
Carpenter/Kitchen fitter (self employed)
Bald (mostly)
play guitar
used to do Thia boxing/Kung Fu (no longer fit)
enjoy reading mostly fiction and history
bad at spelling (better at maths)

:wha: think thats it for now

I'm 59
Have three sons all over 30 now and two grandkids.
By trade, I retired as a banking IT/Project specialist but got bored (and the price of beer went up) so I'm now a full-time pest controller working in North Kent.
I like to play traditional English music with whistles, guitar, and a couple of squeezeboxes.
I play (and occasionally dance) with the Seven Champions Molly Dancers (sort of like Morris, but interesting)

Have part shares in a dog who belongs to my GF who spends part of the week with me when she does. He likes to come over on brewdays when he helps by guarding my grain stash

Andi, just turned 34.

One house, one SWMBO and one crazy dog called Dax. I work in network security at a Cardiff university (hello artiums_enteri, you could be a handy contact as I'm new to the trade, any tips or must reads? Network security 101?)

I play in two bands, both of which have had me travelling the globe over the past few years. Not as frantic as it once was, which is where the brewing has come in. A few years ago I was on a plane every other weekend. This year we should be recording our seventh album and doing all the touring that comes with that. My second band, who I only session for on occasion, require my services for two exciting trips in August and possibly September. Croatia and maybe Malaysia. That should be fun, but I'll need to make sure all my brew tasks are done beforehand.

I love heavy metal, classic rock and punk, and thankfully so does my girlfriend. I think I'd go insane if she liked RnB or dance music.

I train 4 times a week at my work gym, and am thinking of starting crossfit, maybe even next week.

I like beer. :drink:
