I now ordered a heating pad and Inkbird, thanks again for all your help!
Also, an update to the beer; I now tasted the first bottle and it's actually not bad! There is definitely still some hint of a sour flavour, but it's not too prominent and the beer is actually drinkable. I would probably not buy it in a shop, but as a second attempt of making all-grain beer, I'd say it's acceptable.
Considering the yeast is described as having flavours of tropical fruit, mango and pineapple, maybe it really is just the yeast making these flavours and sour smells. In any case it does not really fit an Austrian lager, which I was trying to make, but oh well...
At least I'll learn from my mistakes.
