..well a lot actually  Mainly the bird and her very nice sister....
"We don't like stout and real ales not a very girly drink is it?" Yawn yawn. I wouldn't mind but they don't even reside in the same county as me but you know what it's like. You start brewing and you think "What can I make the Judys?"
So I made them this.
Shopping trolley adventures
4 litres of Morrison's premium red grape juice
4 liters of ASDA chav apple juice
4 Litres of Tesco 'Oh so budget' Red grape juice
4 liters of ALDI Apple and elderflower juice bin end stock.
Quarter a bottle of Tesco Elderflower cordial.
What was left on the sideboard of a bottle of strawberry cordial
4 litres of pellegrino vasser (The mother in law and her posh afflictions)
a kilo of dextrose
a mash of tea, raisins, juniper berries and dates that boiled and brewed for 10 minutes
a pinch of yeast nutrient (A couple of spoonfuls i think)
Some pectose or was it petulance?
Half a jar of Sainsbury's cheap honey (I have my Cheshire standards you know)
and a voodoo spell
Will it make cider eventually?
Will it blow up in my kitchen?
When should I rack it off into a barrel?
Will it get them both ****** enough for me to realise my sisters fantasy?
Do I need to use finings?
Do i need to have a mop on standby?
Do I need my head testing?
I'm calling it "I'll go shopping for juice girls you put a brew on"
If it keeps them off my beer it'll do.
Pitched yeast (Young's cider) at 19 deg. 22 litres in the tank at OG 1054ish.
Wadda ya think Jedi? I'll need some help as what to do with it once it's done its first ferment.
