Welcome to the Forum! :thumb:

When "checking on it" just remember what my Mum used to say just before she clouted me for touching things ...

"You look with your eyes ..." BANG! "... NOT your hands!"

Enjoy! :thumb:

Welcome to our weird and wonderful world, soon you will be sticking your nose up at buying beer/ciders from tins and questioning the price tag on most alcohol!

I've said it before and I'll say it again - the most important bit about this hobby is to have fun, you will both defiantly learn a lot along the way but just chill out when things don't go as the instructions promised - they are more guidelines as to point you in the right direction

With most beers/ciders 2-2-2 method can be implemented

2 weeks fermenting
2 weeks conditioning
2 weeks carbonating

Keep us posted and ask as many and any questions you both have, we all started somewhere and remember there's no such thing as a stupid question :)

There are also volumes of threads for referencing :)

Thanks my wine has been in for two days now. Starting my two hoppy hares IPA tomorrow.
