Yes! In my early days of brewing I bottled some cider from King Keg. The cider was carbonated to a fairly low level given it was in a King Keg but I wanted more effervescence. I filled some bottles with cider (luckily these were flip-tops) and then through a funnel I tipped a spoon of finely ground glucose powder. All was great for about 3 seconds and then I learned all about nucleation! As these were flip-top bottles I was able to quickly seal them up just as Vesuvius was launching up the neck.Voice of experience?
