No worries, having a couple swapping 2 beers will make things easier to work out.I only have two bottles available to swap though. Sorry, I missed the bit where it said it needed 3 and 'accidentally' drank one of the PET bottles a week ago to 'test' that it was still OK (spoiler: it was)
I can picture the logic in my head but I won't be in front of a pc until tomorrow night to actually try it out. I'll PM you about it.I think we've got the following so far, if I've made a mistake let me know. The interest in this swap has been pretty high so cheers all for joining in.
The plan will be to post on or before weekend of 27th May. I'll open the feedback thread that weekend too.
It looks like the field is too small to have Excel cope with the third bottle so I'll come up with another plan and post swaps early next week. Any suggestions on how to organise them will be gratefully received.
@Alastair70 - 3 bottles
@samale - 3 bottles
@Mash Monster - 3 bottles
@pilgrimhudd - 3 bottles
@Oneflewover - 3 bottles
@jceg316 - 3 bottles
@SMP Brewery - 3 bottles
@Broken Toe - 3 bottles
@AJA - 3 bottles
@Donegal john - 3 bottles
@Hazelwood Brewery - 3 bottles
@Agentgonzo - 2 bottles
@FirebladeAdam - 2 bottles
How about you first remove the two folk swapping 2 beers. Then give your three beers to the three people below you, samale’s to the three below him, etc. Wrap around from bottom to top for the last few. Once all are done, swap four beers at random with the 2 folk with 2 swaps.I think we've got the following so far, if I've made a mistake let me know. The interest in this swap has been pretty high so cheers all for joining in.

Nice one, thank-you. Secret Santa was easier with almost 50 people swapping either 1 or 2 bottles. Clashes within and between swaps happened, but much less frequently. Good luckI can picture the logic in my head but I won't be in front of a pc until tomorrow night to actually try it out. I'll PM you about it.
We ran the 3 bottle cream ale swap along those lines and it worked well.How about you first remove the two folk swapping 2 beers. Yeah, me too if it helps.We ran the 3 bottle cream ale swap along those lines and it worked well.
Thinking it through Gonzo and Fireblade just need to swap a bottle with each other and a bottle with either one or two of us who fancy an extra bottle. I’d be happy to take one for the team on that front (or even two)
We’ve got a plan :hat:Yeah, me too if it helps.
