King Keg tap on Wilco Barrel

Saw post by someone who had shortened a KK Tap to use in Wilco Barrel and one where someone had shortened a Wilco tap both cured leaks BUT I cant either now using "search"

Has anyone done either of these please and did it work ?

update

just screwed KK Tap into Wilco to see what happened and it screwed straight in and when filled didnt leak

NOW I am puzzled - help needed lol
