The new study from Australia found that an alarming number of people do not see cyclists as human, 30 per cent saying they considered those riding bicycles as less than fully human

For those who have not yet seen the results, in summary, 30 per cent of 563 respondents said they considered cyclists as less than fully human.

I don't think they have any brakes at all do they, they slow down by pushing back against the pedals. What could possibly go wrong?

When I were a lad I rode fixed wheel for many miles. As both shoes are strapped in to the pedals you do have effective “brakes”
but I admit this was on the track at White City.
