Is this unusual

I started my elderflower wine on the 8th of June the next day it was bubbling away nicely, today it has slowed down a lot but still active, I did a hydrometer reading and its at 40 appears to be taken a long time

Sorry I should have said, I added one packet of Wilco wine yeast and one teaspoon yeast nutrient

Thanks for that, its still bubbling but very slowly, will just wait till it stops, in no hurry, I'm still busy, I have a 33 bottle Wine kit from the Range to brew, and I've a Woodfords Wherry Amber ale to go into the pressure barrel tomorrow.

Fill a couple of bottles and hide them! It is always fun to see how it matures over a few months. I've even bottled from the pressure barrel.
