I have quite a few. Obviously beer and wine making, I used to do the weather forecast for the local paper but just do it on Facebook now. I run Cumbernauld Weather and have the only magnetometer in Scotland which I built for the AuroraWatch UK network. I code BASH using raspberry pi's or using a pc running Linux. I design and develop projects using Arduino. I like camping and hill walking, I like to go to concerts and festivals, I occasionally go to knockhill to watch car racing (I used to be a marshal but don't have the time now)
I have a 3 year old girl and 7 year old boy so they take up most of my time.
I love Sci Fi, Acton, documentaries, some drama and watch TV before bed.

Well, there's keeping the kids fed and watered.

I make wine, cider and just moved on to partial grain beer (have done loads of kits). I have no where to lager, so that's out of the question.
I like foraging and gardening.
I also make jams and chutneys, soft cheese (will advance at some point but space to mature is an issue) and home made sausages.
The next steps for me are butchery and charcuterie.
I also love cooking various styles of food.

As a result, I don't watch much TV.
Unless it happens to be RWC time. Then bu99er all gets done!

I like to bake bread (would love to have a wood fired bread oven at some point)

I help to run the youth Cricket team my Son plays in.

I sing in a covers band, and when the house is empty I get to play my piano (quite badly)

So yesterday with been stuck in the house due to a operation, was a bit bored decided to join a few forums, thought honesty was the best policy so decided to introduce myself, explained i was a ex mod on this site it did not go down to well whats wrong with people

I enjoy clay pigeon, paintball, cycling and foraging for wines and beers.

Also a fan of whiskey :-)

Oh and publishing photos of people who park on pavements and blocking crossings etc. Really winds me up for some reason.

Except when i am awake.

Between the baby, work and brewing I don't have time for any of the above. Need to work out how you make the time.
