The biggest travesty in all of this is that she will have received a load of money from UK Sport (Lottery / Tax Payer funded) over the years that could have gone to some upcoming athlete with little money, training at a grass roots club, but with potential to win us gold in a sport that people care about rather than some toff prancing around on a horse. She is estimated to have well over £16mil

I can honestly say i have never watched dressage, show jumping etc the only thing I have watched more than once is the grand national and I stopped watching and betting in that many years ago due to the amount of horses that die, when I hear people say "the horses are bred to jump" it makes my blood boil it's all about money nothing else.

It also is not a sport and how they keep calling things like this sport I do not know neither is darts etc they are skills not usually physical sports-like people but they have mastered a skill without pushing their bodies to the limit.

I don't think anyone would be stupid enough to release a false video especially when a solicitor is involved in its release

That was my first thought. The minute the video came out, she fell on her sword.

Apparently, there was a Danish competitor caught up in similar. The solicitor said the reason the person with the video had come forward was because it gave them the confidence to do so.

Said person was told by everyone they spoke to in the sport not to release the video and that "there would be consequences". Sounds like a mafia, which would not surprise me at all. All sports have this across all classes of people. It's not just the toffs.
