Hi peeps

Ain't been here for a while - been busy tho; got three brews done for Christmas drinking plus my brew buddy has a new kid so he's busy with nappies.

Anyway, my query is this:
We currently use Bruclens from Wilko as our sanitiser for the FV and bits and pieces, plus the bottles when bottling.
My dad makes jams and marmalades and he sanitises his jars in the oven at a high temperature. (He used to homebrew back in the day, now he just drinks mine)

I'm sure I'm not the first to ask but can I not do this with my bottles? Saves on buying the stuff...?

Get yourself a bottle a bottle of no rinse sanitiser. I use star san mixed with distilled water (planning to mix my ss w water from tumble dryer in future) and it's fantastic. Saves loads of time and is much cheaper in the long run. No chemically taste and never hadvan infected brew.

Yeah, I'd thought I'd noticed a bit of chemically taste on my brews. Cheers yeastmaster
I'll check out that link too chippy, ta :)
