just thought i would pop in to say hi. just got started with my home brew. 1 batch from a can.. 1 from the grain etc...

i am also a bee keeper so maybe mead is also on the menu!

Hi Si & welcome.Always wanted to keep bees,got a book and read up on them but never got round to starting up.If i ever do i will ask for some help from you if you wouldn't mind or maybe even have a look at how you do it as i am only about 30 to 40 minutes away.I have a mate in Zante Greece who keeps them and they are fascinating,i couldn't believe how many are in a hive :shock:,anyway if i can "bee" of any help in anyway just ask. : Ken.

I'd definately recommend mead, all I've ever made has been from the cheap, multisource stuff but even that is a really nice drink. :

hi guys , just moved in also in langly,
everytime i go to slough shopping i keep being drawn to the youngs brew buddy in wilkinsons for £ 22
do you think this would be a suitable beginers kit ?
