thought I'd introduce myself to you all, following a trip to see my brother (who lives out in Holland) last year and seeing his single handed attempt to out brew every one in Eindhoven, my interest in homebrewing has been rekindled !
I currently have a Brewferm Tarwebier in a fv ( brewed to instructions) which should be ready to be racked into fv2 this weekend (still undecided whether to add some Orange & Corriander) and a Coopers Brewmaster Wheat Beer (which I shall make with 500g of spraymalt) ready to go into the empty one.
I've been saving my beer bottles for a while too, 660ml Warsteiners I have about 40 and 750ml Hoegaardens the same, and about 20 or so Lidl pale ale bottles (think I'll need champagne stoppers and cages for these) so I have had to get an Emily capper with both bells as I haven't bothered with real bottles before
I will keep you updated with how the current beer comes out

that's all for now and thanks for the time

Hello Neal
Welcome to the forum, you sound your well organised :thumb:
Happy brewing

thanks for the welcome Cqr, I try to be !! forgot to say, I've been banished to the garage so I've adopted the fish tank heater submersed in a large water bath method for the first time, brew has stayed at a constant 22deg regardless of air temperature, I have the whole lot covered with an old sleeping bag with just the airlock showing, looks very Heath Robinson but seems to work pretty well :D

Welcome aboard neal, Brewferm Tarwebier and Coopers Brewmaster Wheat Beer both sound nice, looking forward to hearing how they turn out, good call on the temp control.
