Hello from Alderney.

I've posted a bit on the forum already, but didn't notice this part!
I live on Alderney in the Channel Islands, a 3 and a half mile long rock just off the coast of France.
I got into brewing earlier this year and ruined the first few kits (well nearly, OK with a lemonade top) due to inexperience.
Now getting into my stride, I think, and brewing kit pimped Saisons and IPAs.
Really enjoying it as I love cooking and fiddling with recipes.
Other interests are Sea Angling and collecting and restoring Honda Monkeybikes.

Too right! Always better to learn by other's mistakes.

I've just started a gallon of turbo cider to get something under way. Should be ordering a nice easy beer kit (Woodforde's Wherry) soon. Also eyeing up the rhubarb patch and the redcurrant bushes with wine in mind.
